Red marks the spot!

This little red-whiskered bulbul made it her mission to build a nest balanced on my window so that I could not shut it for the next few weeks, which brought in mosquitoes by the dozen to sing me to sleep. But it was all worth the wait when the fragile but heartening tweets of the baby birds brought life to the nest. The two parents worked day and night to feed their little babies and one by one they learnt to fly. I'd sit at my window for long hours staring at them.

It's awesome to witness the birth and bloom of new life.

Hai!
Yup! I have a story too!
A pair of pigeons built their next in our balcony and it was simply amazing to see the way they built the next, laid the eggs, incubated them, the way the little birds came out of the eggs, the way the mother pigeon fed them and the most wonderful thing was to see them learn & try flying everyday until they left one day...

About This Blog

From the time I picked up my Canon EOS 450D, I've been hooked onto photography. Every photo tells a different story, and I love discovering them. Shooting is a constant experience and I've grown more attached to my camera than ever. This blog is my attempt to share with you the wonderful stories these photos tell me.
